We are an advisory body
(with no legal enforcement) on access needs and problems within the Bundaberg Region benefiting..

• Parents with young children and children with disabilities

• People with disabilities and mobility problems

• Frail aged

• Vision impaired persons

• Persons with hearing disabilities

We provide information resources for any person requiring assistance. We do not charge for these services.

Our objectives are to advocate for all people with disabilities in respect of physical access issues in the built environment and streetscape design. To educate local bodies, construction agencies and the general population at large in all aspects of equity of access for all people to all environments.

The committee is comprised of volunteers who are able bodied and people with disabilities. Disability access problems are presented and discussed. 

If requested inspections are carried out and written reports presented to business owners, property owners, local government bodies, state or federal departments.
The committee will prepare  submissions for you to the Human Rights Anti Discrimination Commission.
