2 public access toilet blocks are located North and South of the Tourist Information Centre
which is located in the median strip in the centre of Gin Gin

The dam is located approximately 20 Kilometers North of Gin Gin along the Bruce Highway.
The recently constructed visitors' area has wheelchair access toilets and shower for use by day trippers and overnight stays.
Camping and caravan sites are available.
Cabin accommodation is not wheelchair friendly.
The facility is operated by the Kolan Shire Council with a full time onsite caretaker.
The dam is a stocked fishing impoundment, a licence is required.
